At the recent NAMM show in Anaheim, California, January 20-23, 2005, the MelodyWave® Instruments touch-sensitive baton became a real show-stopper. The newest version of the electronic musical instrument was demonstrated to a very receptive crowd. Each time the SMU Musical Ensemble demonstrated the variety of sounds possible on the instrument from MelodyWave® Instruments crowds gather around intrigued with what they heard. Some called it “The most innovative and unique musical instrument ever to appear at a NAMM show."
